The UK's Pizza Chefs were put through their paces in the regional heats to find the UK's Pizza Chef of the Year. From there the winners of each region were brough to London to compete in the Final to find the Pizza Chef of the Year. 

We travelled across the UK sampling pizzas in our quest to find the Pizza Chef of the Year 2017. The winners were invited to London to create their winning pizzas in front of a live audience at The EPPS Show at London's Olympia. We are delighted to announce the winner of The Pizza Chef of The Year:

Contestants were required to design a pizza recipe around a specific sponsor’s product. Please see the winners below:

The sponsor’s product had to be used in the relevant category, together with other ingredients of the contestant’s choice. Pizzas were judged on taste, presentation, commercial viability, texture and innovative use of the sponsor’s product.

The Pizza Chef of the Year competition offers participants the chance to receive considerable publicity and prestige for them and their business, by winning a regional category and ultimately the overall title of Pizza Chef of the Year. In addition, there’s ample opportunity to network with colleagues and suppliers in the industry, test their creativity and innovation and showcase the winning pizzas on their menu.
